I'm Mariah, and I've been teaching in college for over 10 years. One of the most important lessons I've learned is the necessity of using whatever tools are available to prepare and deliver quality classes for my students.

Early in my teaching career, I found myself often scrambling to prepare for my classes, sometimes just days or even minutes before a session. This last-minute preparation was compounded by my undiagnosed ADHD, which frequently led to distractions and disorganized lectures. My teaching wasn't as cohesive or effective as I wanted it to be, and I knew I had to make a change.

To improve my teaching and create a meaningful learning experience for my students, I began reading books focused on helping college professors with organization, lesson planning, and delivering better lectures. This journey has been transformative for me, and I want to share the strategies and tools I've discovered along the way.
